ELECTRICAL ENGINEER

ELECTRICAL SYSTEM ARCHITECT

Team Polar is seeking a highly motivated and experienced System Architect to join our team. You will be responsible for the electronics and energy management of our vehicle, including power electronics and the overall system architecture for all electronics. You will work collaboratively with other members of the team, including mechanical engineers, software developers, and electrical engineers, to ensure seamless integration of all components and systems.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and implement overall system architecture for the vehicle's electronics, including energy management and power electronics.

  • Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and software engineers to ensure seamless integration of all components and systems.

​​

  • Develop and maintain system-level requirements and specifications.

​​

  • Define and document the electrical and electronic architecture of the vehicle, including schematics and diagrams.

​​

  • Analyze and optimize power distribution and consumption for the vehicle.

​​

  • Develop and implement safety systems for the vehicle's electrical and electronic systems.

​​

  • Participate in design reviews and provide feedback on design and implementation strategies.

​​

  • Evaluate and recommend technologies and components for use in the vehicle's electronics and energy management systems.

​​

  • Work closely with suppliers and vendors to select and source components and systems.

​​

  • Develop and maintain project timelines and schedules.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proficiency in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

​​

  • Expertise in power electronics and energy management.

​​

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

​​

  • Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations.

​​

  • Experience with CAD software for electronic design, such as Altium Designer.

​​

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

​​

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

​​

  • Strong project management skills.

​​

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize work effectively.
