About the event

The RDW offers students the opportunity to develop their skills in smart mobility with the Self Driving Challenge for six months. This year, no fewer than 9 student teams will compete by letting their self-driving vehicles drive on the circuit.

The final consists of various in-circuit experiences in the field of autonomous driving. Vehicles must stop for a red traffic light, give priority to a crossing pedestrian, and finish with a parking action. The event is accessible by personal invitation to a select group. Like last year, the challenge will be hosted by the Huge Car Guy Roland Tameling.

Date: Friday, June 14, 2024

Time: 10:00 a.m. (registration from 9:30 a.m.) to 4:30 p.m.
